| What does the Travel Federation of Iowa (TFI) do? |
TFI provides a unified legislative voice for the travel industry. A highly effective District Leaders
program has been developed by TFI providing important and timely communication between industry
constituents and their legislators. The District Leader program has become a model for other industries.
Iowa Tourism Lobbying Efforts. The TFI Board of Directors contracts the services of registered lobbyists
to assist in presenting the concerns of the tourism industry to legislators.
Iowa Tourism Fast Facts Booklet. Each year TFI publishes a booklet with the TFI legislative priorities
and important tourism statistics.
Iowa Tourism Legislative Day & Showcase. Annually TFI sponsors a kick-off session for the tourism
